Wk 7 views - Tagging, del.icio.us etc

I was wondering earlier if there was a way to gather everyone's blogs in one spot besides consulting the progress chart. Well, this is it.

Perhaps RAD can have one to share good sites to use at the desk.

Wandering around the UCSpace wiki, I have just found under Learning 2.0 - Social bookmarking that James Neill is an example of a del.icio.us user. Also found under APA Style that the UC Library Guide - APA Style link has been crossed off. Anyone know why? I think James Neill is author of both. I just also discovered I can adjust my Preferences on UCSpace to be emailed if anyone adds to our Reference or Cataloguing pages.

On the personal use side, I for one, am going to adopt del.icio.us as I'm sick of having Favourites on 3 different computers (2 at home and 1 at work).

As for Library Thing ... this was what I needed years ago when I had finished my library course and wondered whether it was worth cataloguing my library at home. It's brilliant. Any bibliophile can have a decent record of their books now. Older and wiser, I am not though going the have one now. I don't think I can be bothered now updating my catalogue everytime I get a new book or sell an old one at Ron's Bookshop. Time is more precious these days - I need it for reading ...
Can anybody enlighten me on a "widget"?
